The International Aperture Awards

Entries Open 1st October to 30th of November 2009

The 2009 International Aperture Awards is the world's most prestigious international online photography competition.

The competition is now open for all professional and non professional photographers with a combined prize pool of US $88,000.00 in cash and prizes.

The Category judging is now complete.

Category winners and Top 50 placings per category will be announced on the website Friday afternoon.
The Finalist judging is now underway and the Overall Open and Amateur Winners will be announced on the website on Monday 21st December.

Merit Awards
Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze merit awards are awarded as follows

	Platinum Award scored 95-100
	Gold Award scored 88-94
	Silver award scored 82-87
	Bronze award scored 75-81

The platinum, gold, silver and bronze awards are recognized by the judges as high quality images and worthy of recognition in the competition.
