News & Announcements
| NEW Single Image Entry to the Competition | October 1st 2008 |
|
|
Due to the extraordinary number of requests for a single image entry, we have made some positive changes
to the entry fees and also to the number of images able to be accepted per entrant.
Single Entry Fee (1 image) $39.00 up to a maximum of 8 images.
No change to the $200,000.00 Prize Pool, the Major Prize is still $100,000.00,
and categories and judging rules all remain the same.
The management of The International Aperture Awards in consultation with our partners and judges
believe these changes reflect the very positive feedback we have had to date.
This competition is ultimately for the benefit of the entrants and so these changes reflect their interests while retaining the integrity of the competition.
All current paid entrants will be notified and their entry fees will be adjusted to reflect the new structure.
As you can appreciate it make take us a little time to process these changes but rest assured it is our top priority.

The Polaroid of the 21st Century
Roughly the size of a deck of cards, the digital instant printer provides consumers with a real-life solution to sharing digital images trapped on cell phones and digital cameras. The digital instant printer uses a Bluetooth or USB connection to receive pictures and creates full-colour digital photos without ink cartridges or ribbons.
